Providing the rules below are followed, pets are welcome at Beaucette Marina. There are good exercise areas and walks, perfect for pets.

Travelling from the UK

A pet animal (dog, cat or ferret) which is resident within the British Isles (UK, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man) may travel directly to the Bailiwick of Guernsey on a pleasure craft providing it does not visit any port outside the British Isles en route.

Note that a pet animal from the Republic of Ireland must be accompanied with a valid Pet Passport.

Travelling from the EU

A pet animal arriving from anywhere in the EU (not including the Republic of Ireland) and/or a non-EU listed country, can only travel to the Bailiwick of Guernsey on an EU pleasure craft providing it has first been legally landed in the British Isles (UK, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man).

Having been legally landed in the British Isles the pet animal may join with an EU pleasure craft and travel directly to the Bailiwick of Guernsey but must not visit any ports outside the British Isles en route.

Evidence of legal landing in the British Isles

Evidence of legal landing in the British Isles includes:

  • An up to date Pet Passport, and either;
  • A ‘recent’ ticket for an animal from an approved carrier from the British Isles directly to Guernsey, or;
  • A ‘recent’ ticket for an animal from an approved carrier for an approved route into the British Isles from an EU (not including the Republic of Ireland) and/or non-EU listed Country.

…or…

  • Evidence of quarantine in the British Isles

In the absence of evidence of legal landing in the British Isles a pet animal will have to remain below deck at all times.

Guernsey Border Agency declaration

Masters of pleasure craft, both British and EU, arriving in the Bailiwick of Guernsey with a pet animal on board will be asked to complete and sign the Guernsey Border Agency declaration. The forms are available from the Harbour Office.
